Campfire A: Using the Power of Data and Partnership to Co-design Improvement
The NHS Scotland Local Intelligence Support (LIST) provides essential new evidence to help improve local services. LIST analysts use novel analyses to produce new insights so that local services are designed using the best intelligence. LIST work collaboratively with national and local organisations, including Health & Social Care Partnerships, GP Clusters, Community Planning Partnerships, Third Sector and other public sector organisations. This session will share examples of co-designed work that has helped improve the lives of the people of Scotland, both locally and at a national level.
Philip Johnston - Service Manager (LIST) - NHS National Services Scotland / ISD
Alistair Smith, Principal Analyst, NHS National Services Scotland
Chris Jolly, Programme Manager - Primary Care, Perth and Kinross HSCP
Campfire B: What Is Robotic Process Automation and Why Should You Love It?
Government and technology has always had a rocky relationship; cost over-runs, time slippages, and so on has made public sector colleagues rightly wary of the next ‘bright shiny new thing’. So why should Robotic Process Automation (RPA) be any different? Join Guy as he talks about what impact RPA is already having, what the future is likely to bring and how it is taking the ‘robot out of the human’, helping colleagues to become happier in their work and able to offer improved citizen services.
